Good Food Tour Philippines – Buffalo Wings Edition

Summer came like a breeze and before we know it, the scorching heat of the sun is already replaced by the drizzling rain. But fret no more because some things are meant to stay hot and help us keep warm this season. foodpanda’s Good Food Tour is now on its sixth edition and will feature your favorite wings from three of the best and most popular restos in Manila.

Buffalo wings are deep fried chicken wing part either coated with or dipped in a special sauce. This tasty dish is named after its city of origin, Buffalo, New York and the original sauce was a combination of melted butter, hot sauce and red pepper. This food has become one of the most craved dishes all over the world and currently sweeping off the whole Metro Manila.

Good Food Tour PH is foodpanda’s effort in going the extra mile for its valued patrons by looking for restaurants they would surely enjoy. Its sixth edition features three famous Buffalo Wings brands in Makati City and Bonifacio Global City, Taguig joined by the country’s top bill lifestyle bloggers and foodies who play as judges in this chicken wings game.

First on our list is Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things located at Solaris One Bldg., Dela Rosa St., Legazpi Village, Makati. This restaurant claims that you can eat wings just as if you were in Buffalo, NY. Having 9 branches just around the metro, the place is known to be best enjoyed by people in groups; either families or friends because of their group meals meant to satisfy all your cravings without hurting your wallet. “We offer nothing but high quality ingredients and a special recipe. Now available via foodpanda, these Champion Buffalo Wings can be delivered at the comfort of your home or office,” says Mark Diones, Marketing Head. For this restaurant, we are delighted to have the best-selling appetizer, the Bacon N Cheese Fries. After that, we are served the restaurant’s flagship dishes: Garlic Parmesan, New York’s Finest and Jalapeno Cheddar.

Second stop is Frankie’s New York Buffalo Wings at Crossroads, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. “Here at Frankie’s, we love the idea of authentic buffalo wings. With this, we have the goal of sharing the greatness of this fried and sauce-coated chicken treat to each and every customer,” says Eduardo Firmalo, Managing Director. This restaurant offers an extensive menu of wings and dips. In fact, their recent addition includes one of the most popular flavors in the Philippines today, salted egg! This exotic flavor would surely make you want to try it yourself. If you cannot dine in just yet due to your busy schedule, foodpanda would save the day. Frankie’s exclusive partnership with foodpanda makes sure that you can get your quick wings fix whenever and wherever you want it. This restaurant satisfied our cravings by offering us the wide variety of flavors that they have such as Frankie’s Classic Buffalo Mild, Garlic Parmesan, and the newest addition to their menu, Salted Egg!

Our last stop is Wingman located at Acacia Estates, Taguig. Being one of the pioneers of chicken wings in Manila, it still continues to serve the most authentic flavors of all time. “We work hard to develop our branches and menu every year and so far, we are achieving it. ” says Erik Waldie, owner. This restaurant excites its customers by having their own “Quiz Night; their weekly Thursday activity where a team of up to 8 players enjoy wings and beer while being tested against each other. For this restaurant, they served us the Original Buffalo Wings, Garlic Parmesan and Wing dela Cruz (the featured flavor for the month of June). In addition to that, the place served as a good day-ender as the group got competitive by playing the quiz game that had us thinking while eating wings and drinking beer.

With this line up of delectable wing dishes from foodpanda’s roster, your cold rainy days at home will surely feel cozy and comfy.
